Local Champion Recruitment

Want to play an active role in engaging your community on Climate Action?

We are looking for Local Champions that can help us connect with young people in different communities. A Local Champion, supported by the staff at Thrive Together, will uplift this cause and help youth express their thoughts on Climate Action.

A Local Champion can help in a variety of ways, but here's two big ways they can get involved:

1. Host their own meetings to discuss environmental concerns, potential solutions, and targeted topics the Climate Action Plan should include.

2. Promote engagement with this page, Youth Voices for Climate Action, through social media.

The Thrive Together team will be there to educate, support, and supply necessary content to any Local Champion (just so it's a bit less intimidating)!

Rural communities offer unique and invaluable perspectives essential to understanding and addressing issues within our Greater Cincinnati region.
