Climate Safe Neighborhoods Workshop At The City Of Dayton, KY

Groundwork Ohio River Valley in partnership with Green Umbrella and City of Dayton Park Board is leading neighborhood climate planning through Climate Safe Neighborhoods. Funded through the EPA Region 4 Environmental Education grant, the organizations began their work by hosting a workshop on July 25th, 2024 to enhance residents knowledge on how climate impacts the neighborhoods of Northern Kentucky with the creation of neighborhood based action plans from the residents. The intention is to move the plan forward towards environmental revitalization with the community and partners. The project efforts includes:
