Climate Safe Neighborhoods Workshop At The City Of Covington, KY

Groundwork Ohio River Valley in partnership with Green Umbrella, City of Covington, Keep Covington Beautiful, and Center for Great Neighborhoods is leading neighborhood climate planning through Climate Safe Neighborhoods. Funded through the EPA Region 4 Environmental Education grant, the organizations began their work by hosting a workshop on June 4th, 2024 to enhance residents knowledge on how climate impacts the neighborhoods of Northern Kentucky with the creation of neighborhood based action plans from the residents. The intention is to move the plan forward towards environmental revitalization with the community and partners. The project efforts includes:
