Go to the project

This workshop explores the power of shared action and collective impact in advancing equitable climate solutions. Participants will learn why inclusive processes are essential to achieving fair and lasting outcomes in climate initiatives. The session will build understanding of intersectional climate equity and how social, economic, and environmental factors are deeply connected. We will focus on strengthening the capacity of frontline communities to lead and shape climate responses. Attendees will gain insight into building authentic partnerships that center community voices and co-create solutions. The workshop will also highlight the importance of fostering ongoing dialogue between communities and local government. Participants will explore how to use social vulnerability data to inform smarter, more equitable decision-making. We will examine strategies for prioritizing investments that address both climate resilience and equity goals. The session will also connect climate action with economic development opportunities to support sustainable communities. By the end, participants will be equipped with practical approaches to drive inclusive, community-centered climate action.
